Harvey Nash’s client is looking to recruit an Azure Engineer on a permanent basis

In the role you will be part of a small team and be responsible for maintaining , administering and supporting Cloud based solutions in a business/ projects setting and to assist with the migration of existing services to the Cloud.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Deliver technical direction for the planning, design, and implementation of cloud-based applications
  • Oversee and enhance IaaS and PaaS components to provide reliable, cost-effective solutions in Azure.
  • Deploy and oversee the cloud environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Ensure the architecture of cloud solutions align with business requirements and application development strategy.
  • Diagnose issues in Microsoft Azure and on-premises infrastructure, focusing on network performance and security, and provide recommendations for future-proofing and enhancing performance.
  • Proactively identify process/ continues improvement opportunities
  • Drive initiatives to identify and assess emerging cloud technologies.

I’m keen to speak with candidates who have strong knowledge of the Microsoft Azure infrastructure, security and services. Someone who is capable of collaborating effectively in team settings while also working independently and providing insights on how to best move forward effectively.
