Azure Full Stack Developer
- Contract
Position: Full-Stack Developer (6-month contract, inside IR35)
Location: Reading (1 day/week in office)
As a Full-Stack Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop high-quality, fully performing software solutions that adhere to coding standards, technical designs, and security guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications (utilizing Python & ReactJS) across the organization, with a focus on Azure functions, APIs, and application integrations.
- Translating product backlog items into viable solutions in alignment with system design or through necessary changes.
- Collaborating closely with product owners and team members to define, develop, test, and deliver business outcomes.
- Establishing, implementing, and maintaining development standards according to specifications.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Python, including developing and supporting function apps/web applications, familiarity with microservices architecture, and a strong background in building APIs, with experience in EventHub.
- Proficiency in Azure, including authentication products, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Function Apps, Blob storage, Active Directory, and App-Insights.
- Exceptional programming, troubleshooting, and analytical skills, with a commitment to adhering to strict coding practices, unit testing, release procedures, coding design, documentation protocols, and change management procedures.
- Proficiency using GIT and a comprehensive understanding of the systems development life cycle, including DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid experience with NoSQL databases, preferably Cosmos.
- Experience in continuous improvement and operational support roles, with a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end agile product delivery lifecycle.
- Good knowledge of ReactJS is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exposure to automated testing technologies (e.g., Selenium, Java) is desirable but not mandatory.
