IT Delivery Lead
Location: Perth / Havant (Hybrid working)

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced IT Delivery Lead to join our client's team, responsible for leading a DevOps product team. The role focuses on delivering technology solutions that align with the product roadmap, meeting customer expectations while managing operational and compliance aspects.

You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Technical Lead to ensure the product roadmap balances business outcomes, technology enablement, and operational needs. This role requires a strong ability to manage teams, 3rd-party vendors, and complex delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain effective relationships with product teams, stakeholders, and business units.
• Lead the delivery of technology solutions focused on business outcomes using the appropriate methodologies.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to outline and execute the product roadmap.
• Manage 3rd-party vendors and ensure their performance aligns with company standards and values.
• Oversee cross-product and external dependencies to ensure seamless operational and delivery processes.
• Manage the product lifecycle from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Ensure adherence to IT strategy, policy, and standards for ease of maintenance and consistency.
• Provide regular updates and reporting against key objectives and the product roadmap.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Experience leading DevOps product teams with a focus on capability building.
• Proven ability to lead and manage complex delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps, and their application in portfolio and governance contexts.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to negotiate timelines and delivery metrics.
• In-depth understanding of IT systems, services, and products, preferably within the Energy sector.
• Ability to manage risks, issues, and develop contingency plans for delivery challenges.
• Experience in managing project budgets, with a good understanding of capex vs. opex structures.
• High-level planning and organisational skills with the ability to drive innovation and adapt processes to meet business needs.
