Food Safety Officer

Food Safety Officer| 4 Months (Inside IR35)| Hybrid (Oban)

Harvey Nash’s Client is recruiting for a Food Safety Officer on a 4 month contract.

Main Responsibilities

Will be expected to deliver the inspection of premises approved under Regulation. In particular this is in relation to Fishery and Dairy Premises.

Key Skills/ Qualifications

• BSC (Hons) Environmental Health and REHIS Diploma in Environmental Health/EHORB; or Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection: or Higher Certificate in Food Standards and in Food Control
• HACCP level 4
• Official Control Verification certificate.
• Authorised food officer or environmental health officer with minimum of 3 years’ experience in food safety enforcement and in the manufacturing and official control sector.
• Fishery/Dairy Products experience preferred.
