Head of ICT / IT Manager

Head of ICT, Data and Change required for a family-owned Group of Companies specialising in the construction industry. Playing a pivotal role in overseeing The Group's ICT infrastructure, data management, security measures, and business change initiatives.

The Role:

The Head of ICT, Data, and Change will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Group's ICT infrastructure, data management, security measures, and the business change initiatives. critical in ensuring that ICT systems and data capabilities are secure, robust, and aligned with the overall strategy of the business.

Responsibilities:

As Head of ICT, Data and Change, you will have an opportunity to lead and develop a talented team while ensuring the organisation’s ICT and data functions run efficiently.

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Group’s ICT infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Lead the development and deployment of business applications while managing the ICT development team.
  • Develop and implement ICT security policies
  • Manage the ICT service desk operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery..
  • Lead data management strategies, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security while guiding data analytics initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Lead business change initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and supporting smooth organisational transitions.
  • Provide leadership to a team of 4 ICT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Remain aware industry trends and technologies to lead the Group’s digital journey.

Experience Required:

To succeed in this role, you must possess strong leadership qualities and have deep expertise in ICT infrastructure, data management, and change management.

  • Proven experience in a senior ICT management role, 3 years plus.
  • Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure, architecture, and security.
  • Experience in data management and analytics.
  • Strong project management and change management experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • ERP experience – preferably implementation & rollout.

This role would suit an experience Head of ICT, IT Manager or Head of IT – within commutable distance of Staffordshire.
