M&A Project Manager - Office Migration
A Leading Financial Services business in Central London are looking to hire a Infrastructure Project Manager, who ideally holds exposure with Infrastructure Office Migrations/Closures AND M&A.
- 6 -12 month contract - significant scope to roll
- Paying between £550 - £700 per day (UMBRELLA - Inside IR35)
- Based in London * Hybrid working (3 in office, 2 from WFH)
- This is a London base role, however there may be need to travel occasionally to mainland Europe (France, Germany etc)
- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS OFFICE CLOSURE/OFFICE MIGRATION/OFFICE MOVE EXPERIENCE*
- MUST HAVE PRIOR/CURRENT FINANCIAL SERVICES EXPERIENCE*
Infrastructure Migration Project Manager
- The scope will not just be Infrastructure/Firewalls etc, but also MultiCash Online Banking and Instant Payments.
- Application work – multi cash Apps vs Infrastructure:
- Infrastructure: nothing specific which would be more beneficial – the role is focused on office closures/migrations.
- Organisation and office closure experience is more beneficial
- M&A / Office closure of more importance than the tech side
- FS experience, will be needed
- Product knowledge – nice to have.
- Infrastructure knowledge – will still be important
- Makes of tech not important, but need to be a tech PM background.
This role will project manage the delivery of all IT components of this office move, including: Infrastructure, networks, voice and workplace.
- Strong and dynamic project manager
- Ability to work in complex organisation structures and tenaciously forge a path for delivery
- Previous experience in one or more of networks, voice, infrastructure or workplace
- Previous experience of having managed and successfully delivered multiple office moves projects
- Ability to take stakeholder requirements, work with multiple IT teams to define and gain common agreement to an architectural approach and to obtain funding
- Excellent communication skills, strong experience in managing the diverging interests of various stakeholders
- Consulting and collaborative working style, creating a culture of accountability and sharing
- Ability to quickly master new subject areas
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or streams successfully
- A self-motivated individual able to work with varying organisational and geographic styles
- Track record of project financial budget management Task Description All tasks required to lead an end to end project: business case development, project charters & scoping, planning and scheduling, team leadership, stakeholder management, proactive management of risks, issues and dependencies, communications, project budget management, reporting and driving projects to on time, quality and cost delivery.
