Parcel Hub Delivery Manager

Plymouth, Devon

Parcel Hub Delivery Manager, Plympton / Liskeard

c£35k basic salary + £4.5k car allowance + bonus + benefits

This rapidly expanding courier delivery service is looking for driven, ambitious and energetic managers to continue their growth across the Southwest.

With responsibility for two hubs on the Southwest coast, the role involves the efficiency management of a fleet of parcel to door couriers. This is an agile role that will require a range of skills whether that be continuous improvement through MI/BI metrics, capacity management or relationship management internally and externally. Full training on systems and services is provided as part of a 4-week training programme and continued support comes from regional managers and central support.

This is an active environment where urgency, proactivity and organisation are key to success. The ability to set working structure consistently, fairly and robustly in busy times, will be essential as is a current UK driving licence. Your background is less important than your aptitude. People succeeding in these roles have had backgrounds from Retail, delivery services, armed forces and even recruitment.

It would be useful if you like early starts as the shift starts at 8:30 in the morning Mon-Fri, with every third Saturday (time given in leu) on the rota. Once you are settled in the role there is a great deal of flexibility in the role with most managers working from home for the afternoon.

If you are looking for a change of direction, are happy managing in a busy environment and enthusiastic around customer services excellence this could be the role you are looking for. With company growth, there are also regular opportunities for progression.

Please drop me a concise resume for a further discussion and more details on the role.
