Project Managers /Business Analysts

2 x Project Managers (with Business Analyst experience) - 6 Month Initial Contract - £450 a day (Inside IR35) - Hybrid Working (WFH and minimum two days a week in the Edinburgh based office) - Educational Institute
Please note, the successful candidate must be local (ideally Edinburgh based) due to substaincial on-site requirements and is required to have previous experience within Education Institutes or at least within the Public Sector.
Role Description:
- Manage the project plan, risks and multidisciplinary project teams for multiple projects.
- Understand and manage interdependencies with other projects in the programme of change ensuring the impact of issues or changes are appropriately managed.
- Work closely with programme managers to effectively deliver project objectives and deliverables whilst mitigating against risks or escalating issues in a timely manner, where appropriate.
- Motivate and coordinate project teams and stakeholders to deliver to project plans.
- Work with project teams and stakeholders to gather and document requirements to feed in to procurement or implementation projects, this may involve facilitating workshops.
Essential Skills:
- Significant experience as a project manager, delivering successful solutions in challenging business environments.
- Developing and managing project plans, benefits, risks, decisions, issues, interdependencies and other related information including project paperwork (such as meeting notes and action tracking).
- Experience of engaging and obtaining results from matrix project teams, stakeholders and senior colleagues to ensure projects deliver to agreed scope/quality, budgets and timelines.
- Experience of leading digital transformation programmes and projects delivering both IT and business changes.
- Effective communication skills both oral and written, with the ability to collate and present information to others including monthly project reports to project sponsor and programme manager.
- Experience of standard business analysis tools and techniques to communicate with staff.
- Experience of using Project Management tools.
