Strategic Leadership:

  • Ability to articulate long term strategic visions or short term objectives to a wide variety of stakeholders in an engaging and inspiring way.
  • Ability to develop, articulate, and execute technology strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Proven track record in leading technology teams and driving innovation.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and inspire diverse teams.
  • Ability to take decisive actions and prioritize tasks effectively, demonstrating bravery in making tough decisions.
  • Emotionally intelligent, inspiring and effective communication to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing technology projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the technology teams.

Technology:

  • In-depth knowledge of current and emerging tech, including AI, cloud computing and DevOps.
  • Staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Influence a digital mindset throughout the company.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into language for non-technical audiences.
  • The ability to align IT strategy with broader business goals.
  • Ability to evaluate and implement scalable architectural designs.
  • Experience in managing relationships with technology vendors and partners.
  • Knowledge of "gold standard" cybersecurity postures and ability to proactively locate and rectify vulnerabilities.

Scope:

  • Leading teams spanning multiple countries and legal entities.
  • Understanding of global market dynamics - culture, regulatory frameworks and managing cross-cultural teams.
  • Applicants must be willing to undertake frequent travel to across Europe to partner with Business Heads and Vendors.
