About the Role:
We are looking for a Solutions Architect to support and map out various solutions for our bespoke IDAM system. Currently managed by a single individual, this system poses a single point of failure, and we are seeking to migrate it to Microsoft Azure. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring a smooth transition and enhancing the system's reliability and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse the existing bespoke IDAM system to understand its operations and identify potential points of failure.
- Collaborate with the current system manager to gather detailed knowledge and documentation of the system.
- Develop a comprehensive plan to migrate the IDAM system to Microsoft Azure, ensuring minimal disruption to current operations.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the migration process.
- Identify and propose multiple solutions for enhancing the IDAM system's reliability and scalability in the cloud.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met and the migration aligns with business objectives.
- Document all processes and solutions to ensure knowledge transfer and support continuity.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, particularly with IDAM systems and cloud migrations.
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud-based IDAM solutions.
- Experience with bespoke systems and the ability to quickly understand and document complex setups.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to propose multiple solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Lancashire for 2 days a week.
