Senior Front Office React Developer - sought by leading Investment bank based in London - Hybrid - Contract
*inside IR35*
Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop GUI solutions within the Commodities Pricing, eTrading and Risk &PNL platforms
- Be part of a team of UI and server side developers to implement solutions based on front office business needs
- As a delivery lead, work closely with various partners including business representatives (Front Office, Product Control, Market Risk, Finance, and Regulatory), quants, and other technology teams in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering business value enhancing the Commodities business competitive edge
- Deliver solutions in line with Commodities Technology electrification strategy
- Be involved to implementation, testing, documentation and release process as per business requirements and firm standards
- Work directly with developers, quant analysts and traders/sales to drive electrification within Commodities
Knowledge/Experience:
- 10+ years of experience required
- Experience developing UI systems and drive to create a good UX design
- Experience working with Front Office teams, understanding their requirements and implementing solutions adhering to business needs
- Experience with building and maintaining robust and scalable platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast paced trading environment
- Ability to interpret analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management
Technical Knowledge/Experience:
Expert in one of these technologies: React / Angular / Vue / HTML5 / UI, UX Design / ag-Grid / Typescript
Nice To Have:
- MongoDB
- Web Sockets / Tibco / Rabbit MQ / Kafka / Solace
- Grafana / ELK
- XML/JSON processing
