Our client is on a journey to build out their business wide Data capability, hence are looking to appoint into a newly created Data Lead (quasi Architect) role in their Glasgow location. You will work closely with the Enterprise Architect to develop a data strategy for the wider business, aligning with their over-arching business strategy.
You will work to help the business define their specific data direction, across multiple locations and stakeholders at all levels, effectively acting as a Data Ambassador to the business as they begin to standardise approaches/ use of Data. You will take responsibility for Data standards, catalogues, governance and structure as well as implementing data strategies and ensuring the appropriate use/ safeguarding protocols for the business.
This role has some on site work in the Glasgow area so candidates must be willing to work on site as required for this role. To be considered for this role, we're looking to speak to candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Specific experience in at senior Data role
- Experience of setting data strategy
- A solid understanding of of data modelling, data governance
- Extensive practical experience of technologies across integration & analytics with a strong business perspective
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and experience working across all levels within a business
- Strong commercial nous; how you can use Data to benefit the business
