Business Analyst - Risk & Controls
A Leading Financial Services business in Belfast are looking to hire a Business Analyst who ideally has some experience or exposure in the Controls and Risk space (RCSA specifically)
- 9 month contract - significant scope to roll
- Paying between £350 - £500 per day (UMBRELLA - Inside IR35)
- Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland
- Hybrid working (3 in office, 2 from WFH)
Job Responsibilities
This opportunity is to work in the Markets (1LoD) Credit and Price Risk & Control team covering the firms Manager Control Assessment (MCA)/Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA), including:
- Working with SMEs across 1LoD and 2LoD to identify opportunities for control enhancements
- Challenging stakeholders across all lines of defence on risk appetite and control performance
- Implementation of the Price Risk Target Operating Model in Policies and Controls framework
- Documenting updates to the Price Risk Target Operating Model
- Assist in the Price Risk MCA Transformation, including identification and build out of risks and controls
- Collecting data and preparing materials for senior management meetings
Key Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Risks and controls mindset, with familiarity with Risk & Control Self Assessments
- Ability to present data concisely and with a clear narrative
- Ability to work with large data sets and automate data collection and presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite, specifically Excel, Powerpoint and Visio
