Job Title: Oracle Data Migration Analyst

Job Type: 3 Months Contract

We are looking for an HR/Payroll Data Migration Analyst to support the migration of HR and Payroll data from on-premises Oracle EBS R12 to Oracle Cloud HCM.

You will be working on a project to support the data migration workstream with the migration of HR and Payroll functionality and data to the cloud. The Systems Integrator will perform the core Oracle EBS to Oracle HCM data migration.

You will be responsible for identifying, collecting, and converting (into HDL format) data entities that do not currently exist in the source system EBS, but are required for the new HCM solution. This will include structured and unstructured data sources, as well as overseeing the creation of new datasets.

The role will also establish data preparation and cleansing processes and manage business cleanse activities to ensure high-quality data is available for migration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identification, collection/extraction, mapping and transformation into HDL format of all required non-EBS data sources
  • Manage the creation, and conversion to HDL format, of any new datasets required to support the migration
  • Identification of data quality issues with required datasets in both EBS and non-EBS sources
  • Establish and manage data cleanse processes to resolve data quality issues (including those identified by the SI)
  • Understand the need for and build effective validation, error handling and reconciliation processes
  • Document non-EBS data migration and data retirement processes and procedures

What do I need?

NOTE: This is not a straight EBS technical role - we require more than EBS schema knowledge and strong PLSQL

To be considered for this role, you would need:

  • Demonstrable, recent experience in Oracle Cloud HCM projects as a data migration analyst
  • Demonstrable, recent experience working with various data sources and technologies to achieve migration objectives
  • Strong understanding of Oracle EBS HR and Payroll data lifecycles so as to understand a data sets' state and relay to the business the actions required to completely cleanse a record.
