Data Governance Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain strict principles, standards, policies, and procedures that ensure the availability, accuracy, reliability, consistency, and security of all company data stored in all systems.
2. Interpret the principles to meet the needs of the business.
3. Create and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary and document library.
4. Define the operational and regulatory risks that must be managed.
5. Ensure and enforce adherence to the policies created.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Data Governance Manager or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of data governance principles, standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Ideally experience with governance of data sharing outside the EU.
4. Minimum 2-years experience of Microsoft Purview (previously Microsoft Security & Compliance) and Azure Purview.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Able to represent the business and promote the company’s commitment to data governance in meetings and presentations nationally.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in developing and maintaining a comprehensive data dictionary and document library.
