Senior Desktop Engineer – Oldham (Onsite role) - £300-350pd DOE - Inside IR35

Are you ready to play an crucial role in one of the most significant transformation projects at Harvey Nash? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Desktop Engineer to spearhead a Windows 11 Upgrade for one of our prestigious clients. This initial 12-month contract offers the potential for extension and the chance to make a substantial impact.

We require a Senior Desktop Engineer that can support with implementing a wide range of Microsoft services in particular MS Intune, Autopilot, SCCM etc. The role is fully onsite based in Oldham and inside. We are looking for candidates that can start ASAP.

In this role, you are the primary technical expert responsible for addressing complex technical challenges related to end-user computing; specifically, Microsoft Technologies, focusing on Autopilot, Intune, SCCM, Autopatch, Azure Monitor and related components.

Senior Desktop Engineer – Oldham (Onsite role) - Experience:

• Drive the comprehensive upgrade to Windows 11 and associated technologies.
• Build and deployment of laptops across all organisational levels.
• Ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of infrastructure projects.

• Utilise your in-depth knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

• Autopilot with AADJ

Essential Experience:

• Proven experience in managing major desktop deployment upgrades, particularly Windows 11.
• Experience deploying Windows 11, MS Intune, Autopilot etc.
• A track record of deploying laptops within a fast paced environment c.3000 laptops. infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Experience working collaboratively with all members of IT, fostering a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing.
