About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive, driven Research & Strategy Consultant to deliver research, pitches, and comprehensive plans, contributing to the success of large-scale projects. In this role, you will work closely with sales teams to drive revenue growth and assist clients in achieving their business objectives. You will be responsible for providing deep insights, developing custom solutions, and supporting business development efforts through analytical expertise, client consultations, and cross-functional collaboration.

As a Research & Strategy Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in identifying business opportunities, providing strategic advice, and managing project timelines to achieve client success. This is a high-impact role where you'll be expected to lead key initiatives with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research & Strategy Development:
  • Deliver full research projects, pitches, and plans that align with overarching business strategies. Collaborate with sales teams to identify new opportunities and execute prioritized projects that meet clients' needs.
  • Provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions in sales, marketing, and product development.
  • Sales Development Support:
  • Work closely with sales teams to accelerate growth by helping clients meet their business objectives. Assist in building Go-to-Market strategies, developing sales pitches, and creating marketing collateral.
  • Identify key stakeholders and engage with them to ensure alignment and collaboration on sales goals.
  • Consulting & Client Support:
  • Provide consultative support to clients on strategies related to sales, marketing, and product development. Use analytical insights to drive client success and optimize their use of Google products.
  • Develop forward-thinking narratives to support client initiatives, such as marketing events and consumer outreach.
  • Industry & Consumer Insights:
  • Conduct consumer research for industry verticals, leveraging vendors and third-party tools as needed. Build dashboards and tools to synthesize data and generate insights for clients.
  • Create industry analysis and thought leadership to provide valuable insights on trends, competitive landscapes, and target audiences.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work with internal teams to develop scalable narratives and elevate client conversations. Advocate for best practices in storytelling and data visualization to enhance client engagement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and improve joint business plans and consult on vertical-specific trends and insights.

Skills & Experience:

  • Customer Conversations:
  • Ability to engage in meaningful conversations with clients using open, closed, and leading questioning techniques to uncover needs, motivations, and goals.
  • Research & Data Analysis:
  • Strong background in analyzing customer, industry, and market data to identify opportunities, inform strategies, and support decision-making.
  • Proficient in using Google products, services, and solutions to solve complex client challenges.
  • Sales Acumen:
  • Understanding of the customer's buying cycle and competitors' offerings. Ability to position and differentiate Google products to drive business growth.
  • Consulting & Stakeholder Management:
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, managing expectations and delivering solutions that meet business goals.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Expertise in one or more industry verticals, with the ability to apply industry trends and insights to business strategies.
  • Leadership & Influence:
  • Strong leadership skills to manage complex projects, influence stakeholders, and contribute to high-level strategic discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 3+ years in a research, strategy, or sales consulting role, ideally in a technology, advertising, or related field.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Analytics).
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in data analysis, research tools, and sales strategy. Familiarity with Google products and industry analysis tools is a plus.
