Firewall Engineer - Long Contract - Fortinet/NSX-T/Azure
A Leading Financial Services firm are looking to hire an experienced Firewall Engineer, ideally who has knowledge of Application Security Policy Implementations.
- £550 - £650 per day (Inside IR35 - Umbrella/PAYE only)
- 80% Remote work (hybrid)
- Based in London (but largely remote as above)
- 12 month initial contract - but significant scope to roll.
Must have
- Technical expertise installing and configuring Network Security environments and tools (Fortinet, UTM Technologies, NSX-T DFW) - (Azure NSG Firewall, VPN Gateways)
Nice to Haves
Certifications
- Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE 5+) or equivalent experience.
- CCNP
- AZ-700 MS Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Network Automation experience
- Scripting and API Know How would be beneficial
Project Description - SAP Finance Systems Migration
The objective of the project is to provide network and firewall consultation and implementation support for the SAP Finance Systems data centre migration.
The main deliverables of the collaboration with network team:
- Consultation for solution designed Firewall
- Implementation of the relevant Firewall changes
- Troubleshooting post migration Firewall issues
Project Description
- Supporting application moves to the cloud and compartmentation of network segmentation and policies on Cloud and On-Prem.
- Provide Firewall consultation and support to the project team during the process:
- Define and apply Firewall policies for core services.
- Define and apply Firewall policies for applications.
- Support hyper care period.
- Support handover of FW policy management structures to app teams.
