Business Analyst - Permanent Role - Hybrid
We're looking for a Business Analyst to join the GMC's Enterprise Systems team. We're looking for someone with business systems experience within a software development environment; who can demonstrate their ability to deliver innovative and complex solutions and drive technology enabled process improvements .
As a Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for delivering key changes to the system through the investigation, specification, and design of high-quality features & enhancements, using agile techniques and methods.
You will be involved in every stage of the product delivery life-cycle, ensuring that all functional and non-functional requirements are clearly defined. Drawing on your strong understanding of business processes, you will translate these into User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, while overseeing solution design to ensure alignment with business needs.
The candidate must have:
- Good working knowledge of Siebel CRM (or similar enterprise CRM system); with experience of implementing new features into an enterprise CRM system.
- Experience and understanding of Agile (particularly Scrum) and waterfall software development methodologies and the practices of a Business Analyst in this environment.
- Lead Business Analysis Activities: Take charge of business analysis for projects, including multi-sprint deliverables, and ensure successful delivery from scope definition to implementation
- Product Ownership: Establish and maintain a prioritised product backlog, becoming a subject matter expert in operational business areas and system functionality.
- Elicit and Document Requirements: Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements, and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate and Facilitate: Work closely with product teams and stakeholders, facilitate interviews and workshops, and ensure solutions meet business needs and align with solution architecture principles.
- Support and Train: Assist with go-live plans, data migration activities, and support business teams in adopting new systems and processes, including creating and delivering end-user training.
