IT Payments Project Manager (SWIFT)
A Leading Financial Services business are looking to hire an experienced Payments Project Manager, ideally with knowledge and experience within SWIFT implementations/upgrades.
- £550 - £675 per day (Inside IR35/Umbrella or PAYE only)
- The role is an initial 9 month contract with scope to roll into a couple of years
- The role is a Hybrid working (3 days a week in the office, 2 from home)
- Based in Central London
Role Overview
- Other payments knowledge: specifically for SWIFT
- Upgrading from SWIFT 7.7 to 7.8
- Experience running similar IT Payments Projects
- Would consider vendor side experience or banking; slight preference on the FS banking side.
- Would ideally want the system implementation/upgrade experience.
- There is an equivalent business ops SWIFT person - This person must be IT side PM for SWIFT
Our client, a large & well-known banking organisation is looking for the incumbent to support across key programmes of work within the Payments Transformation space.
The essential skills required to be successful in this roles includes:
- Extensive payments experience
- Good understanding of Payments, specifically SWIFT/Crossborder, CHAPS and FPS (all payment rails are preferable but experience in either HVP or FPS)
- Experienced in Non Functional and Technical Requirements gathering
- Be comfortable supporting key decisions and articulating project scope to stakeholders to help shape and drive the project forward
- Work with the wider business to elicit and analyse requirements on change initiatives across the organisation
- Influence and communicate effectively with key stakeholder to produce analysis and design deliverables
- Be able to successfully collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to identify, evaluate and recommend business and technology solutions.
