Oracle - Data Analyst /Developer
A Leading Financial Services firm are looking to hire a Data Analyst, ideally who holds extensive experience across the Oracle stack.
- £650 - £750 a day (Inside IR35/Umbrella or PAYE only)
- The role is an initial 12 month contract with scope to roll into a couple of years
- Hybrid - Based in London (3 days a week in the office/ 2 days a week at home)

Looking to hire multiple contractors with experience as Data Analysts, Oracle Data Analysts, Data Engineers and Oracle Developers
12 month contracts
- A complex integration with upstream and downstream systems, will require careful project planning and execution.
- The candidate will be required to research alternative products to current data ware house solution
- Defining data standards for inputs to our ledger is crucial to success of this program.
- As such the candidate will play a pivotal role in laying foundations.
- The span of operation will include liaising with Senior Management in Technology and Finance, Developers, Business Analysts, Teams in Operations and Front Office technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a technology lead for delivery of Oracle implementations
- Research product landscape in market and provide quantified recommendation for solution.
- Create task breakdown and lead development team towards successful execution.
- Work with Product Processor Technology Manager in re-engineer legacy systems.
- Work on data standards, data storage strategy and data fabric required to manage inputs to the Strategic Ledger initiative.
- Working closely with other engineering leads to manage cross team delivery.
- Attending workshops, working groups and other relevant meetings with senior representatives from different lines of business.
- Applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Ability and willingness to understand application use cases and take ownership of database design, storage , partitioning and data archiving.
- Ability to performance tune large size and complex databases
- Work as a guide and mentor for application team & foster an engineering culture.
- Define database release and testing strategy.
- Must have managed complex technology projects for a major investment bank.
- Experience in financial technology, preferably in Financial Accounting, Markets or Corporate banking
- Demonstrable delivery risk management in project plan and dependencies and ability to organize/facilitate conversation leading to an acceptable conclusion.
- Experience of delivering on projects in geographically diverse, multiple teams
- Experience of working with developers and BAs on detailed IT work plans, schedule
