PMO Lead - Yorkshire, UK - £500 per day (Inside IR35)
On behalf of our client, a leading financial services organisation in Yorkshire, we are delighted to present a brand new opportunity for a PMO Lead. This role has been created as a result of significant investment and transformation within the company. You will play a crucial role in establishing and driving the success of the project management office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead the PMO, ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement PMO processes, standards, and best practices.
- Oversee project governance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to project managers and teams.
- Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and issues.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in project delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PMO Lead or in a similar role within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, P30, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
