About the Role: Harvey Nash client is seeking an experienced Java / OpenRoad Developer to join their team and support the delivery of a priority project within the Business Systems area. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to significant projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Java SE 5/6, Shell Scripting, Linux 2.6 x.y, Linux Shell Scripts, Jboss 4 & 6, Azure DevOps, and GIT.
- Conduct unit and integration testing.
- Work in cloud-based development environments and deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to the development environment.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in all required disciplines.
- Qualified to a minimum degree level in an associated discipline.
- Well-versed in Iterative (Scrum) delivery methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
Other Relevant Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based development environments and deployment pipelines.
