Business Change Manager - Client On-boarding

A Leading Financial Services business are looking to hire Business Change Manager , ideally with extensive Project Management experience within the Client On-boarding and KYC space.

  • 6 month initial contract (significant scope to roll)
  • £700 - £800 pd via Umbrella company (Inside IR35)
  • Based in London, City.
  • Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office (flexible)

Overview

The ideal candidate for this role is a Business Change Manager with a demonstrable track record of leading organisation change, with a strong understanding of target operating model development within a corporate banking environment. The candidate should have basic knowledge of corporate banking products, systems and processes and should be able to demonstrate delivery of business driven change within a financial services organisation. The ideal candidate has knowledge of delivering Client Onboarding, KYC/AML and CDD processes and of implementing CLM tooling.


The Enterprise Program Management (EPM) team provides project management and business user support for strategic global programmes, project governance and control for other significant projects in the region, and portfolio level reporting on significant projects across EMEA to the Executive Committee. Initiatives can be cross entity, cross functional and can consist of model, technology & business process efforts.


EPM see a steady stream of new projects to be managed or monitored from across the region, for a number of which EPM will take responsibility for planning, overseeing and delivery, ensuring that these are completed in a timely manner and within budget following full project lifecycle from initiation to closure including; business case preparation, project planning, designating project resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed during the entire lifecycle. Included in the current portfolio of projects under EPM management is the Know Your Customer Client Lifecycle Management (KYC CLM) Project.


This role will deliver the project management function for this project, working with teams across Financial Crime, Compliance, Operations, Regulatory, Legal and IT in London and the other EMEA offices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Translate strategic programme outcomes into actionable change plans
  • Build and communicate the project plan, progressing activity through to completion
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure buy-in and adoption of new processes and operating models
  • Facilitate workshops and feedback loops to gather input and monitor engagement
  • Coordinate among other projects and workstreams to identify and manage dependencies
  • Ensure scope is captured and delivered inclusive of business processes, technologies and other organisational requirements
  • Work across functions, legal entities, technology groups and business areas to deliver projects
  • Maintain a comprehensive Risks and Issues Log throughout projects ensuring that these are captured appropriately, with mitigations and resolutions formulated and tracked to completion
  • Operate effective change control
  • Forecast effort and costs and track spend against forecast

Quality & Assurance

  • Deliver project status reporting
  • Adherence to project standards as applicable

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • University degree or equivalent desirable
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence and Monday.com desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders in order to gather information
  • Knowledge of corporate banking products desirable
  • Ability to efficiently handle complex datasets in Excel
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Proven experience in prioritisation of own and others' workloads
  • Planning / organising skills
