PMO - Financial Services Background - KYC/AML/CDD
A Leading Financial Services business are looking to hire a PMO, who holds a background working extensively within the F/S Sector and holds expert Excel/V-look up and Pivot Table knowledge.
- 6 month initial contract (significant scope to roll)
- £400 - £500 pd via Umbrella company (Inside IR35)
- Based in London, City.
- Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office (flexible)
*Must have FS background*
Experience working on KYC/AML/CDD projects or even LoanIQ exposure would be beneficial
Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable PMO with strong project management office capability who will be responsible for managing existing governance and proactively promote best practice.
The candidate should have a demonstrable track record of working in a complex change projects within a banking environment and should have basic knowledge of corporate banking products, systems and processes.
The candidate will support one or more projects in the EPM portfolio.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
PMO
- Deliver the PMO function for the specific project within the EPM Portfolio, delivery best practice across: governance, reporting, planning and support services.
- Draft the governance documentation and any other project documents required by the project.
- Develop informative reporting materials and provision of insights to senior management, including progress against plans.
- Deliver reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis into formal governance forum as needed.
- Update the RAID Log on follow up of the mitigating solutions with relevant stakeholders.
- Update the Actions Log based on follow-up with Action Owners.
- Maintain the communication strategy of the project, maintaining distribution lists and meeting attendee lists.
- Support in coordinating the Project Working Groups, Boards, Steering Committees and any other relevant governance forums.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the project.
- Manage the stakeholder engagement process effectively, including monitoring and reviewing stakeholder maps and engagement plans.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in banking and/or prior experience as a PMO
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and decision making skills
- High level of personal responsibility and professionalism
- High level of self-motivation and initiative
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of project management methodologies
- Advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Project management accreditation [Desirable]
- Knowledge of corporate banking products and processes [Desirable]
- Knowledge of Jira, Monday.com and Confluence systems [Desirable]
