I am excited to present an excellent opportunity for a PMO Analyst to join a dynamic team with my client based in Edinburgh. This role involves supporting the Portfolio Management Office in overseeing projects that drive our client's digital strategy. The contract is initially until the end of March 2025 but will have the option to extend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, categorise, and prioritise new initiatives within the digital services portfolio.
- Support resource capacity planning and track resource allocation across projects.
- Monitor portfolio risks and develop mechanisms for measuring benefits.
- Maintain the portfolio delivery roadmap and critical path projects.
- Coordinate project and programme reports, analysing performance.
- Curate, present, and share information with stakeholders and senior managers.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in project, programme, and portfolio management functions, including planning, risk management, and governance.
- Familiarity with PMO frameworks and methodologies, including both waterfall and agile practices.
- Strong budgeting, cost management, and resource planning skills.
- Ability to provide independent assurance while working collaboratively within a multi-disciplined team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Professional certifications (e.g., Agile PM, Prince 2, P3O).
- Experience with MS Project for the Web/Online, SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Automate.
